True Biblical Salvation
BEING SPIRITUALLY, ETERNALLY QUICKENED, MADE BRAND NEW, BORN AGAIN, BAPTIZED, ANOINTED, AND SEALED BY GOD HOLY SPIRIT FOREVER!
The right order of salvation is God convicts us as sinners, enemies of His, by His Holy Spirit and His Holy Word. When we are convicted by the truth that we are dead in our trespasses and sins because we are rebellious, because of our original sin nature that we inherited from Adam's original sin, God gives us a space for repentance.
Repentance is simply changing our mind about our condition, which results in a change in our habits and lifestyle.
This all happens very quickly, the Bible names it quickening of our spirit, or being made new in Christ Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.
We are baptized, anointed, filled with and sealed by God's Holy Spirit right then and there.
That is the essence of our salvation.
When we were spiritually dead in our trespasses and sins, we could do no good works.
Now, after we have been baptized by God's Holy Spirit and made alive, quickened in Christ, we are wholly brand new creations, made eternally alive, born again unto good works, that God has called us and chose us for, even before time began. See 2nd Timothy 1:9
Have you ever seen a dead person do any works at all? Good or bad?
Neither can a spiritually dead person do any good works!
So, faith comes by hearing the Word of God coupled with The Holy Spirit's conviction, then our turning to Christ Jesus as Lord for forgiveness of sins and complete exchange of our dead sin nature, for Christ's perfect, sinlessly alive nature, we are quickened by Christ Jesus, made instantaneously alive in Christ, resulting in good works as manifested by our testimony that Jesus is Lord, the beginning of good works in our brand new life.
We are then, expected by The Lord to follow Him in New Testament water baptism as a sign to our local Church body and the whole world around us, that our old dead self has been buried, signified by total immersion underwater, and we have been raised to a brand new, born again life, in Christ Jesus as one of His followers or disciples or Christians. See Acts 11:26
This is true New Covenant, New Testament salvation in the true Christ Jesus as Lord!
HALLELUJAH!
We have then become saints of God because of His eternal salvation.
Are you eternally saved by Christ?
