I've been baptized 4 times: once in the Jordan River, once when I was 32 years old after I received Christ Jesus into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior, and twice when I made a decision for Christ at age 8, I slipped on the 2nd step from top and fell into the pool then the Pastor picked me up and baptized me in front of the church.
Have you found Christ Jesus as your Savior? If so, please, show me the scriptures that say Christ Jesus was lost...or that we were even looking for Him before He came looking for us...
17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

IS THE REAL CHRIST JESUS OUR PERSONAL LORD OF ALL OUR LIFE TODAY?

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV
Working together with HIM, we also appeal to you, “Don’t receive God’s grace in vain.” For He says: I heard you in an acceptable time, and I helped you in the day of salvation. Look, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 HCSB
It is not the strength of our faith that saves us, but our faith in a strong personal Savior, Christ Jesus The Lord!
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:8-10
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. - 2nd Corinthians 5:17
Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:23-24 ESV

WE SHOULD PICK UP OUR BIBLE, PRAY, READ AND STUDY IT TODAY - LIKE OUR VERY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT! BECAUSE IT DOES!
Scripture will keep us from sin, or sin will keep us from scripture.
